Chapter 14: Peaceful Practices [Anryakugyo]

"Concerning the 'peaceful practice' of Myoho-renge-kyo: in the Latter Day of the Law, in terms of the practice that Nichiren and his disciples now carry out, to meet obstacles in the course of one's practice of Myoho-renge-kyo should be regarded as 'peaceful.' The occurrence of persecutions should instill a sense of comfort. Meeting persecutions should thus be regarded as 'peaceful practices.' (Gosho Zenshu p. 750)
